Artist Maddie is beginning to establish herself as a successful artist, but her studio and gallery are situated in a remote area and a killer is apparently on the loose. When art collector Stella arrives, it becomes clear that one of them is the killer. The tension rises inexorably…to the shocking denouement.
A Friend of Ronnies – Directed by Andy Fox
For the past twenty years Edith Norris has been living with her husband’s dark secret, convinced that one day they will be found out. Now in retirement from his job on the railways, Arthur has put this to the back of his mind and lives each day as it comes. Today, 8th August 1983, on the twentieth anniversary of The Great Train Robbery, “someone’s knocking on the door, someone’s ringing the bell”………is this the discovery Edith has been dreading? Join us at Lane Theatre Newquay to see if Edith’s worst nightmare has finally come true……that someone has at last found out about their secret. Comedy and pathos are served up in equal measure as Arthur and Edith try to deal with the stranger in their midst.
