We have 74 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, many with breathtaking sea views, and spacious, elegant reception rooms to relax in. Our housekeeping is second-to-none as we understand how important a clean, well-presented room is to all guests.

When in Cornwall enjoy the best, freshest Cornish produce – our award-winning food is locally sourced and lovingly prepared by our Head Chef and served in elegant and comfortable surroundings. The restaurant specialises in fish and seafood, our table d’hote menu is changed daily and all our food is freshly cooked. Alternatively, you can eat in our stylish bar where ’30s-style cocktails could make a different appetiser for your meal.

Special Events – our elegant reception rooms provde a reflection of the wonderful parties held in the 1930s. Your guests will admire the ballroom, with its original mirrors and bar, and the dining room as they descend its graceful staircase.

Whether you are hosting an intimate dinner for a small group, corporate hospitality for important clients or a banquet for over two hundred friends, we can provide the perfect room, menu and entertainment.

Our experienced events team is on-hand for every stage of the planning. We can source anything you need for your event, from a big band to balloons, and, on the day, will ensure that everything runs smoothly. After all, it’s your party and we want you to enjoy it! The Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay also plays host to a year-round calendar of sporting events. The Extreme Academy is a specialist school for surfing, bodyboarding, kitesurfing, waveski, hand planing and stand-up paddlesurf, along with technical equipment hire.
