Beachside is a comfortable and contemporary two-bedroom apartment overlooking the famous Fistral Beach in Newquay. The apartment has been designed with relaxation firmly in mind, and there are breathtaking sea views from both bedrooms and the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, a separate under-the-counter fridge and freezer, a microwave and a table with six chairs. The living room is comfortably furnished with two sofas, two armchairs, a 46″ Freeview Smart TV and a DVD player. Just imagine long afternoons spent watching the waves from the comfort of the armchairs in front of the bay windows. Both of the bedrooms are a welcoming sight after a busy day on the beach. With little touches such as an en-suite shower room, dressing table, wardrobe and sea views from both bedroom windows, this apartment is extremely spacious, ideal for four guests to have a comfortable stay.

At the top of the flight of stairs to the apartment is your very own south-facing seating area; the perfect spot for relaxing with a drink and a good book in the gorgeous Cornwall sunshine. The additional family bathroom and the utility area with a washer/dryer provide extra facilities for guests. All bills are included and the apartment has one free allocated parking space and there is also additional free on-street parking nearby. Just a few steps away from the legendary Fistral Beach, you have one of the UK’s most famous stretches of sand to enjoy throughout your stay. Home to a thriving surf scene, Fistral is dotted with surf schools for those of you feeling brave, but if you’re happier walking than on a surf board, you’ll find some of the South West Coastal Paths most dramatic sections nearby. If you would prefer something a bit more relaxing, simply sit in one of the many beachside bars and enjoy a drink by the sea.

For a day off the sand

For a day off the sand, you are less than a couple of miles from Newquay town centre with local surf shops and boutiques, as well as charming cafés, bars and entertainment should you fancy a livelier evening. Slightly further afield there are more beaches, Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo, Dairyland and plenty of other attractions that are waiting to make this a trip you won’t want to end. The whole coastline is dotted with beaches and fishing villages, from St Agnes in the south to Padstow in the north, with its fine dining and many excellent restaurants including those of the TV chef Rick Stein. Padstow is a must, as it provides a day and evening out for the whole family. Wander the narrow streets and enjoy the evening by the working harbour, or hire a bike and cycle along the famous Camel Trail, a flat off-road trail that hugs the shore of the estuary. At Watergate Bay, 2 miles from Newquay, you can take advantage of the wide beach which is home to the British Kite surfing centre. Truro, Fowey, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all easily reached from this perfectly positioned apartment. Beach 20 yards. Shop ½, pub ¾ and restaurant 50 yards.
