Noel is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Cornwall, UK. His accomplished finger-picking acoustic style and melodic vocal has been likened to that of artists such as James Taylor, Elliot Smith and Ben Harper.
Noel penned his first solo album ‘Outside In’ in 2004, which was very well received and led to a subsequent run of live performances across the UK including many festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe and Boardmasters, BBC Radio 2 and many others which have spanned the years. Particular highlights have included playing alongside The John Butler Trio, Paolo Nutini, Newton Faulker and other well established performers.
In 2005 Noel signed publishing to Supreme Songs Ltd and this was followed by two further solo albums ‘Hazards’ (2005) and ‘Said & Spun'(2008). An EP called ‘Friend or Foe?’ was produced by iconic record producer Ian Grimble (Travis, Mumford & Sons) and released internationally in 2008.
Noel has performed solo, as a member of The Noel Prior Band,The Noel & Harry Duo, Zenneck Wave and most recently alongside his wife Kyla in Sound of Fable demonstrating further instrumental technique as a pianist. His unique and original style of song-writing can be heard through the many recordings that have been made to date which can be heard on this website.
