- Electric Beach Festival returns to Watergate Bay this year so be sure not to miss out on one of the hottest events in the Newquay calendar for 2014!
Sam and the Womp
Mix traditional elements of Balkan music with modern electronic and dance elements. Their hit single Bom Bom topped the charts with a Number 1 hit in the Summer of 2012, they will be cranking up the beach party for sure!
After playing Electric Beach in 2013, we just had to invite the guys back, their energetic yet peaceful dub/reggae/dance vibes had the entire beach bouncing for joy.
Lloyd Yates, who is a self-taught guitarist & singer has been making music since he was 15. He has a huge cult fanbase since then and the Jersey singer is often compared to singer-songwriters such as Ray LaMontagne, Passenger, Bon Iver & Ben Howard.
The People’s String Foundation
The South West is the appropriate home for the beautifully evocative, languid and lush music of The People’s String Foundation. Theirs is unfamiliar territory, scaling the heights of jazz, hip-hop beat-work and Middle Eastern melodies.
Maseo (De la Soul)
Producer / DJ / part-time MC Vincent Mason a.k.a Maseo a.k.a Plug 3 from iconic hophop group De La Soul quietly maintains a spot in hiphop history.
Running Numbers combine live musical elements with computer-based production that draw upon hip-hop, dubstep and drum n bass to create a big, energetic sound.
Here’s a teaser from last year’s event.
