Boardmasters Festival returns to Newquay – the surf capital of the UK – from August 6-10th 2014.
Boardmasters is held at Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay Newquay – known as Cornwall’s Festival and celebrates surf culture bringing you World Tour Surfing, skate and BMX. The Music festival takes place overlooking miles of glorious North Cornwall coastline at Watergate Bay, with a whole host of huge artists still set to be announced, this is one to watch out for!
The first wave of acts for Boardmasters 2014 have been announced:
Brit Award winners Bastille are Sunday’s headliners for the 2014 spectacular, perhaps most famous for their hit Pompeii which rocketed up the charts to number two, whilst their debut album Bad Blood went in at number 1 and has been certified Platinum twice.
Joining Bastille on the bill for Boardmasters are music duo Chase & Status, whose notable hits include Blind Faith and End Credits which are just two of their 4 top 10 UK singles. They take to the stage on the Friday evening at Watergate Bay.
The massive announcement of Snoop Dogg was a huge coup for the growing festival, with the world-renowned star to take to the stage on the Saturday, with hits including Drop it Like it’s Hot.
