As well as wonderful beaches, glorious countryside, a fascinating harbour, super places to eat and drink and a mild and sunny climate, Newquay also has a full programme of live entertainments, competitions, concerts, regattas, carnivals and other celebrations.

As the UK’s top surf location, we host various national championships throughout the year, while for those with other interests, Newquay is ideally placed for the country fair atmosphere of the Royal Cornwall Show. Local events include the Lions Carnival in July, the Harbour Sports Day in August, or our very special New Year’s Eve Fancy Dress Celebrations.

Whatever the season, there’s something of interest to see or do in Newquay, and Newquay Tourist Information Centre is the place to find out all about it.
