Team members of the Trenance Cottages Project limber up for the olympian challenge of hula hooping.

This little-known sport is being revived on Sunday, August 26 at the latest Cottages fundraising day in Trenance Gardens, Newquay.

There'll be duck racing, too, fairground rides, charity stalls and more fun and games that visitors have come to expect from this talented team of fundraisers. The Saffron Maids dancers will perform for your delight.

Enjoy a summer barbecue and other refreshments in the last outdoor event being organised this year by the Friends of Trenance Gardens.

Join the spirit of the day and come dressed in red, white and/or blue to celebrate this very special Jubilee and Olympiad year.

Entry is free and the fun and games kick off at 11am and end at 4pm.
