Trenance gardens
Located in the Trenance Valley, the formal Trenance
Gardens offer a tranquil and sheltered area, criss-crossed by rustic
bridges across streams running into the boating lake, all within a mile
of Newquay town centre.
Here you will find the historic Heritage Cottages, the Newquay Willow
Men and Swan Sculpture, all adjacent to the beautiful Gannel estuary
– a haven for British wildlife. Open to the south, and
screened from northerly winds by the high ground on which the town has
been built, the gardens flourish with exotic trees, plants and shrubs,
making it an ideal haven for a leisurely stroll.
Go through the spectacular Trenance Viaduct to find the Trenance
Leisure Park, 26 acres of fun and fascination, with its Waterworld
swimming and fun pools, crazy golf and miniature railway.
