Come and enjoy a unique and atmospheric journey in the company of the salty old seadog 'imself, Calico Jack, the fair Anne Bonny or other scurvy buccaneers, to learn the secrets of pirate life and listen to the tales they tell, TALL and true, about Cornwall's rich and turbulent past.
With more live swashbucklers and enhanced sound, lighting and visual effects, visitors will have an even more exciting journey than before.

Young'uns are invited to follow a treasure trail to discover six letters that make a secret word which will open the Captain’s treasure chest. You'll get a proper job Buccaneer Bay treasure map when you arrive.

There be one part of Buccaneer Bay that is not suitable for the fainthearted. On your journey you will come to a fork in the road. For brave souls who like to be scared, they can take the detour through the dark and dank Sunken Village of the Damned while those of a more sensitive disposition can take the safe route straight to the deck of The Buccaneer. Which ever path you choose, Buccaneer Bay is fun for all so let your inner pirate loose and visit soon!

Opening Times:
Buccaneer Bay is open Sunday to Friday (Saturdays too during UK school holidays) at 10.30am with last entry at 4pm from April 1 until November 2, 2012.
To avoid disappointment, especially if you are travelling a great distance, please ring to check our opening times on the day of your visit or for any other information.

Warnings: Buccaneer Bay has theatrical smoke effects & strobe lighting. It's not wheelchair accessible, no unaccompanied children allowed, not suitable for dogs, and no photography inside, please.

Other Experiences: This exciting, swashbucklin' family adventure is available from Easter until the end of Octobr but the innovative interaction allows for special themed events to be offered, too, like really scary Hallowe'en evenings. In 2010, Buccaneer Bay offered The Curse of the Killigrews. Last year the Scare Fest sequel was The Revenge of the Killigrews.
