Christmas in Newquay - Santa's Grotto
November 26 was the first of four fun days for youngsters, their parents and grandparents to spend time finding the traditional spirit of Christmas in Newquay. The Friends of Trenance Cottages love decking their Santa's Grotto with Christmas lights and seasonal decorations and seeing the faces of the visiting children as they wait expectantly before getting their turn to chat with Santa and, if they have been good boys and girls, receive a Christmas gift.
The children are then invited to tuck into something tasty and they can end their visit by creating their own Christmas decorations with the help of Santa's elves.
This must-do community event is also available to be enjoyed by families on November 27, December 3 and 4 between 11am and 4pm.
There is a small charge made in support of the Charity Trenance Cottages Newquay, whose members work tirelessly to restore the cottages to their former glory and make it the heart of Newquay's community.
