Wow, the weather could not have been better for day one of the new format Polo on the Beach and what an exceptionally exciting day it turned out to be. It was really good fun for all from the youngest babe to the oldest supporter of this centuries old sport.

Against the stunning backdrop of Watergate Bay, near Newquay in Cornwall, and for the first time, Polo on the Beach will be held over a weekend.

For the first time ever, Polo on the Beach will take place over a weekend in May. As well as top class polo matches and “how-to-play” demonstrations there will be a line-up of innovative and exciting events for your entertainment on the sands of Watergate Bay, Newquay.

And now for something completely different - be on the sands of Watergate Bay, near Newquay, on Saturday, May 18 to watch an exciting, action-packed test of speed between a polo pony and kitesufer!

Take the plunge for a Cornish charity - Cornwall Hospice Care is asking for people to take a 160ft plunge to earth in the name of charity!

Calling all owners of convertible and topless vehicles ...  local residents, Jos and Andy Cole, are calling on drivers to ‘Go Topless’ by taking to the open road to feel the wind in their hair in the Topless Tour 2013!
