Things to do in Trenance

Trenance Gardens - the jewel in Newquay's crown - were laid out in 1906 and make an excellent location to quietly stroll or take time to sit in full sun, or under the shade of mature trees, to relax and contemplate. Whether from the paths that surround the two lakes, or close up onboard hired pedalos or rowing boats, you can study the antics of animals sheltering on the two small islands in the middle of the big lake. Trenance Gardens is also home to Newquay's well established riding centre.

Newquay Leisure Park is within the sub-tropical gardens of Trenance. This is an area for all to enjoy but it certainly is a favourite place for families. Choose from tennis, miniature railway, children's climbing equipment, Newquay Zoo, crazy golf and pitch 'n' putt and Newquay's six-lane, 25-meter swimming and fun pools.
