Newquay has never been more accessible with the continued improvements to the main route through Cornwall, the A30. The last section of single carriageway road before the Newquay turn off has now been upgraded to dual carriageway. Cornwall Airport serves as the gateway to many cities in the UK as well as destinations further afield in mainland Europe and beyond. Regular scheduled flights now include Spain, Germany, Ireland as well as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Glasgow with seasonal routes to Portugal. The airport is located just outside of the town, around 15 minutes drive from the centre.

The town is connected to the rest of the country by the branch line from Par, which serves as a hub for trains to Plymouth, London Paddington and many more towns and cities in the South of the country.
